What’s The Warranty On Your Luggage?
All Thousand Miles luggage purchased directly from us comes with a guaranteed limited ten (10) years warranty. 

The basic warranty covers any manufacturing defect in the following parts of a suitcase: wheels, handles, telescopic handles, zippers, TSA combination locks, nylon compression straps, and polycarbonate shells.


Manufacturing defects include:

  • Structural defects such as cracks, missing pieces, or weak welds. These defects can make the luggage more likely to break or fall apart, especially if it is subjected to rough handling.
  • Material defects such as tears, holes, or weak fabric. These defects can make the luggage more likely to leak or allow your belongings to fall out.
  • Hardware defects such as broken zippers, loose handles, or missing screws. These defects can make it difficult to open or close the luggage, or even make it impossible to use.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Any defects caused by improper use, 
  • Cases that were bought second hand or without proof of purchase directly from Thousand Miles: the warranty is only valid for the original purchaser of the luggage from Thousand Miles
  • Cosmetic damages: any bumps, scratches, scuffs, dents, stains, colour changes, or general wear and tear (including inner fabric) generated from using the case and have no impact on how the case is used or its functionality. 
  • Replacement of any non-defective parts in the luggage
  • Damage determined by us to be due to intentional abuse, modification, tampering, and/or alteration beyond what could be considered normal handling and use

In the event of a warranty claim:

Thousand Miles will cover all repair expenses, up to one time only, excluding any shipping costs to and from our repair facility.

You are accountable for covering all expenses associated with transporting the product to any repair facility. These expenses include, but are not limited to, packaging costs, shipping fees, and applicable taxes.

We cannot guarantee exact replacement of limited edition, discontinued, or out-of-stock items. We guarantee that the replacement luggage will be of equal or greater retail value to your original purchase. We make replacement decisions at our discretion and reserve the right to decline a warranty claim.

What will void a warranty:

We reserve the right to void this warranty if

  • we determine a claim to be dishonest or fraudulent.
  • the luggage has undergone service/ repair by an unauthorised third party who is not Thousand Miles
